General Construction
K-Rite Construction Ltd. has a highly motivated and highly experienced
team of superintendents, carpenters, apprentices etc. ready and able to help you with all
of your building needs. All of them have the expertise required to construct a complete
project, whether it is a service station, car wash, canopy, senior citizen complex,
school, interior renovation, maintenance work, ground work, snow removal or any other
type of construction.
Bulk Storage Facilities
Construction of Bulk Storage Facilities is another area of
expertise that we offer. Construction of bulk plants has changed tremendously over the
years. Again, new methods & new materials have been introduced to bulk plant
construction. Many components can now be prefabricated reducing periods of construction
and at times eliminating the need & also the cost of weather enclosures from the
elements.
Cardlock Facilities
Cardlock facilities although much the same as tank
installations for service stations usually require extensive site work which we are able
to handle easily with owning our own line of heavy equipment. Many of the installations
have gone to above ground storage c/w underground piping, the welded above ground piping
that this type of installation requires is also an item which we are able to handle.
Tank Installations
Stringent environmental laws dealing with hydrocarbon
contamination have increased the need for owners of underground storage tanks to associate
themselves with a contractor that keeps himself abreast of new technologies in tank
installations & also in piping materials & installations. In the past few years we
have seen the results of inexperienced individuals that have installed underground fuel
storage tank and piping systems, the initial cost may have resulted in savings but the
long-term results have amounted to millions of dollars of unnecessary expenditures. You

Tank Removals
Removal of underground storage tanks has become a very
specialized field. The safety concerns and future litigation that can arise from improper
procedures followed by inexperienced people involved with tank removals can become a
nightmare for the clients. This prompted us to draft a procedure and incorporate into our
company safety manual and to be followed by all of our personnel. This enables two things
to occur:
- Our clients can feel comfortable in the fact that they can arrive at the site at any
time and see the procedures as they occur.
- Future possibilities of litigation have been removed because you will have an audit
trail to follow from opening of the ground through to the destruction of the tank.
Soil Remediation
The scheduling control that this has
brought us has enabled us to complete our projects in a tighter time frame & has also
allowed us to offer highly competitive rates. The latest introduction we have to the line
of heavy equipment is the blending unit attachment for one of the 2800 trackhoes. It
scarifies the soil to a depth of 4', thereby speeding up the aeration process
tremendously. Liner installations, piezometer installations, nutrient blending,
dewatering, are just some of the services that we can offer.
Interior Renovations
Another area is interior renovations, such as office, retail
and industrial. The Real Estate market is ever changing, and there may be times a new
location is required, or maybe modifications to your existing. We offer budget pricing for
all types, quick space layouts (CAD), complete general construction, consulting services,
environmental services, maintenance and repairs. We also offer design/build packages using
our own staff and utilizing outside sources for designers, architects and engineers. Our
staff has extensive experience in interior work.
